What is Free Addressing?

Free addressing is an office with no assigned desks at all. Every seat is shared, and people sit wherever suits the day. It maximises flexibility and space efficiency, and it is the purest form of the shared-desk office.

Unmanaged, it has a failure mode: people cannot find teammates and squat the same desk daily anyway. Pairing free addressing with booking and neighbourhoods keeps the flexibility while restoring the predictability people need.
