What is Activity-Based Working (ABW)?

Activity-based working (ABW) is an office model where nobody owns a desk. Instead, people choose the setting that suits the task at hand: quiet zones for focused work, collaboration areas for team sessions, phone booths for calls and meeting rooms for workshops.

ABW only works when people can find and reserve the right space quickly. That is why most ABW offices run on a booking platform with an interactive floor plan, so the choice takes seconds rather than a lap of the building.
