What is Conference Room?

Conference room is the standard US term for what UK and Australian offices call a meeting room: a bookable, enclosed space for group discussions, usually with a display, video conferencing and seating for six or more. Smaller spaces are huddle rooms; the largest is usually the boardroom.

Whatever the label, the management problems are identical: double bookings, meetings that overrun, and bookings nobody attends. Booking rules, check-in release and sensible defaults fix most of it, as covered under meeting room booking.
