Meeting room booking is reserving meeting spaces through a calendar, an app or a panel at the door. Done well it is invisible: you pick a time, the system finds a right-sized free room, and the booking follows the meeting if it moves.
Done badly it is a daily tax: double bookings, rooms that show busy but sit empty, and the ritual of wandering floors looking for space. Check-in, auto-release and calendar sync are the three features that separate the two experiences.
