What is Microsoft Teams Rooms?

Microsoft Teams Rooms is Microsoft’s meeting room system: certified hardware (console, camera, microphones, displays) that turns a physical room into a native Teams participant with one-touch join.

Like Zoom Rooms, it solves the start-of-meeting fumble. The workplace layer around it still needs managing: which rooms have Teams Rooms kit, how they are booked, and whether check-in releases them when nobody shows. That is booking-platform territory rather than AV territory.
