What is Workplace Change Management?

Workplace change management is the discipline of getting people to actually adopt new workplace arrangements: new tools, new sharing ratios, new policies, new floor plans. The technology is usually the easy half.

The reliable ingredients are visible sponsorship, local champions per site, communication that explains what is in it for the employee, and honest measurement of adoption rather than announcements of it. Desk booking rollouts fail on skipped change management more than on any product gap; see why desk booking rollouts fail.
