What is Toolbox Talk?

A toolbox talk is a short safety briefing delivered on site, typically at the start of a shift or before a specific task. It covers one topic in a few minutes rather than repeating the full induction.

The compliance value is in the record: who attended, what was covered and when. Sites that record attendance can show a pattern of ongoing briefing rather than a single induction at the start of a contract.
