Google Meet is Google’s video conferencing service, built directly into Google Workspace and Google Calendar. Every calendar event can carry a Meet link by default, which makes it the lowest-friction option in Google-first organisations.
The workplace pattern is the same as with Teams and Zoom: the video layer is solved, the physical layer is not. Rooms still need booking, hardware and honest occupancy data, coordinated with the calendar where Meet lives.
