What is Four-Day Week?

The four-day week is a working model where employees work around 80 percent of standard hours for full pay, in exchange for maintaining output. Large UK and international trials have reported sustained productivity alongside better retention and wellbeing in many participating firms.

For workplace teams the effect is concentration: attendance squeezes into fewer days, sharpening the peak-capacity problem hybrid work already created. Offices running four-day patterns lean harder on booking systems and staggered schedules to keep the open days workable.
