What is Diary Management?

Diary management is the day to day work of building and defending an executive’s calendar: booking meetings, resolving clashes, protecting travel and preparation time, and keeping the schedule realistic.

It depends on visibility of rooms and attendance. If a room disappears at short notice, or half the attendees are working remotely that day, the diary has to be rebuilt. Live meeting room booking and attendance data remove most of that rework.

The hardest part is not booking but declining. A diary that accepts everything is a diary that delivers nothing, so most of the work is deciding what does not go in.
