If you are shortlisting visitor sign-in software, SwipedOn has probably come up. One thing to know first: swipedon.com now redirects to signinapp.com, and the site states that “SwipedOn is now part of Sign In App”. This SwipedOn review covers what the product is today, how it is priced, and who it suits, based on the vendor’s own pages.
What is SwipedOn?
SwipedOn is a visitor management app: an iPad on the front desk where visitors sign in, get a badge, and trigger a host notification. Employees sign in and out through the same system, with desk booking added later.
Every SwipedOn URL now redirects to Sign In App, “part of Sign In Solutions Inc. or its affiliates”. The landing page says the two “have joined forces and are building a brand new, best-of-both platform”, and adds: “It’s not live yet.” A May 2026 press release describes the group as combining “scalable visitor management (Sign In App and SwipedOn)”, with more than 27,500 customers in over 100 countries.
Existing SwipedOn customers can still log in at secure.swipedon.com. New buyers are buying Sign In App, so the rest of this review covers that product as published.
SwipedOn strengths and weaknesses
What it does well
Reception workflows: kiosk, QR and RFID sign-in, pre-registration, badge printing, ID scan, NDA acceptance, and host alerts by email, SMS, Slack, Teams or app push. Evacuation roll call from live sign-in data. A long integrations list. Data hosting in five regions.
Where it runs into limits
Desk, room and parking booking is a paid Spaces add-on priced in capacity bands. Time and attendance is another add-on. SSO and SCIM sit on the Pro tier. Billing is annual only. No leave management. The merged platform is still in progress, so SwipedOn customers face a migration at some point.

Visitor sign-in
Visitors sign in on an iPad kiosk, by QR code, or by tapping an RFID card (“Sign In App Tap”). Pre-registration, visitor photos, ID scanning and risk screening are listed. Badges print on Brother QL printers; printing is included on all plans, the printer is bought separately.
Employee sign in and out
Staff sign in “via mobile app, QR code, kiosk, RFID badge, or web”, including remotely. A time and attendance add-on turns that into timesheets, priced by employee count.
Evacuation and deliveries
An evacuation list is generated from sign-in data and responders run the roll call from any phone or browser, with offline access. Delivery notifications are included on all plans.
Desk, room and parking booking (Spaces)
Spaces is the desk booking module. It covers desks, meeting rooms, breakout areas, parking spaces and EV charging points, with floor plans, Outlook integration for rooms, utilisation insights, and an AI assistant that takes requests like “Book me a desk near marketing tomorrow”. It is sold in capacity bands from 50 spaces.
Reporting
Reports cover visit history, attendance, bookings, evacuation outcomes and space usage across locations, with export and a REST API on higher tiers.
Integrations and security
Standard integrations include Entra ID, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, webhooks and the API. The page also lists access control systems such as Brivo and Paxton, HRIS platforms such as Workday and BambooHR, Okta and SAML single sign-on, with advanced connectors on higher tiers. Security claims include ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, Cyber Essentials, TLS in transit, MFA, and hosting in the UK, EU, US, Canada or Sydney.
SwipedOn pricing and value
SwipedOn’s old pricing page now lands on Sign In App pricing. It is priced per site, billed annually, in four tiers: Core, Enhanced, Pro and Executive (custom). Each location with a different postcode needs its own subscription. Employees, sign-ins and connected iPads are unlimited on every tier.
Modules are separate. Spaces is priced by number of spaces, time and attendance by employee count, appointment scheduling per bundle, and hardware is extra. SSO and SCIM, unlimited SMS, phone support and a dedicated account manager sit on Pro. There is a 15-day free trial and discounts for ten or more sites. Booking, attendance and scheduling are all add-ons. SSO and SCIM need the Pro tier. Annual billing only. No leave or HR module. The SwipedOn brand is being folded into a platform that is “not live yet”, so what you buy today will change.

A good fit

Hybrid offices where desk, room and parking booking is the daily use case, teams that want leave in the same system as booking, and SwipedOn customers who would rather choose their next platform than wait for a migration.
