The short version
- Logitech has ended sale of the Logi Dock Flex globally from 30 June 2026, with no replacement product planned
- Existing units keep working and stay supported through their warranty term, so this is a planning problem, not an outage
- Buying more of the same is off the table: spare parts and extended warranties are in the same phase-out
- Most teams are better served replacing the desk-hardware model with software booking plus a shared screen, not hunting for a like-for-like dock
If your hot desking runs on Logitech’s Logi Dock Flex, the clock is now official. Logitech’s end-of-sale notice confirms the Logi Dock Flex, together with its spare parts and extended warranties, reached End of Sale globally on 30 June 2026 or while supplies last, and states that an equivalent replacement product is not planned. Units in the field continue to work and remain supported through the warranty period, including any extended warranty you purchased.
That combination matters. Nothing breaks tomorrow, but the estate you have is now the largest it will ever be. Every failed unit shrinks it, you cannot buy more, and the booking workflow your team learned lives on hardware with a fixed horizon.
What the end of sale actually means
| Question | Position after 30 June 2026 |

| Do existing docks keep working? | Yes, nothing is switched off |
| Can I buy more units? | No, sale has ended globally (remaining stock only) |
| Spare parts? | Included in the same phase-out |
| Software and warranty support? | Continues through the warranty term, including extended warranties |
| Is there a successor product? | Logitech says an equivalent replacement is not planned |
Why like-for-like replacement is the wrong search
The Flex Dock bundled three jobs into one box: a docking station, a desk-status display you could read walking past, and walk-up booking at the desk itself. Teams that loved it tend to search for another all-in-one, and the honest answer is that the category has thinned out rather than grown. Logitech leaving it is the signal.
Pull the three jobs apart and each one has a cheaper, longer-lived answer. Docking is a commodity: any USB-C dock does it with no booking software attached. Walk-past visibility does not need a screen on every desk: a floor map on a wall-mounted display at the entrance to each zone shows free and taken desks at a glance, and a map in each person’s pocket does the rest. Walk-up booking moves to the phone: open the app, see the desk you are standing at on the floor plan, book it in seconds.
Decoupled, the model gets cheaper per desk and stops depending on any single vendor’s hardware roadmap. Screens and docks become interchangeable commodities, and the booking logic lives in software you can move.
A migration checklist that avoids the panic buy
You have runway, so use it in order:
1. Count the estate and its warranty dates. How many docks, which expire when. That sets your real deadline, which is probably 12 to 24 months out, not this quarter.
2. Choose booking software before touching hardware. The software decision is the durable one. Look for a visual floor map, booking from phone and desktop, check-in with auto-release for no-shows, and Outlook, Teams and Google Calendar sync, since that is the workflow your team already lost the dock for.
3. Reuse the docks as dumb docks. As booking moves to software, existing Flex Docks still charge laptops and drive monitors fine. Retire the booking function first and let the hardware age out of the charging role on its own schedule.
4. Add shared visibility where it earns its keep. One display per floor or zone showing the live map replaces a screen per desk. Spend the difference on utilisation reporting, which is the part finance will actually ask about.
Where HybridHero fits
HybridHero is the software half of that answer: desk booking on interactive real-time floor plans from web, iOS or Android, auto-release of unused bookings, meeting rooms, visitor management and parking on the same platform, syncing with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and Google Calendar. Teams moving off booking hardware bring their desks, zones and rules across with the Switch Programme, with real human support available 24/7 while you do it. Your docks keep charging laptops; the booking brain moves somewhere with a roadmap.
