How does HybridHero compare with Microsoft Places?

What should I check before choosing Microsoft Places?
Core Microsoft 365 access does not unlock every Places function. Check individual desk licences, the transition at renewal, and the location hierarchy setup.
Are all HybridHero capabilities included in every plan?
No. Features vary by plan, permissions and configuration. Visitor management and bulk team booking require enablement; HR permissions are separate from workplace administration. Confirm your required scope in the proposal.
Does HybridHero manage leave as well as office bookings?
Yes. The support documentation covers leave types, allowances, balances, requests and approval workflows, alongside employee records. HR permissions control access. These are people-management workflows, not payroll calculation or payment processing.
How do Microsoft and Google integrations work?
HybridHero documents Microsoft calendar updates and Teams status updates, and has announced Google Calendar integration. Supported actions and sync direction depend on the integration and resource. Confirm the desk, room and parking behaviour in your demonstration; a calendar connection is not the same as booking inside Teams.
Can we migrate from Microsoft Places?
Start by mapping sites, floorplans, resources, user permissions and booking rules. Agree what can be imported, which integrations must be rebuilt and how the cutover will work. The migration scope and timetable should be confirmed before committing.
What should we include in the demo?
Walk through an office day: find a colleague, reserve a desk and parking, book a suitable room, register a visitor and request leave. Then check manager approvals, access permissions and the reports your workplace and HR teams need.
