What is Method Statement?

A method statement sets out how a job will be done safely: the sequence of work, the equipment, the controls and who is responsible. It is normally submitted alongside a risk assessment, and the pair is often shortened to RAMS.

For facilities teams the practical question is not whether the document exists but whether you can show it was reviewed, by whom, and that the version on file matches the work that took place.
