What is Contractor Compliance?

Contractor compliance is the discipline of checking that external workers meet your site requirements before they start: inductions completed, insurance current, method statements approved, permits to work issued. It protects both safety and liability, since an uninducted contractor on a ladder is everyone’s problem.

The workable pattern is to attach requirements to the contractor’s profile at check-in: documents verified once, expiry dates tracked, and site entry blocked politely when something lapses. That converts a filing-cabinet process into a gate the front desk can actually operate.
