Government Hubs is the UK programme consolidating civil service offices from many small buildings into large shared regional centres, run by the Government Property Agency. Multiple departments share one building, one reception and one pool of desks and rooms.
Sharing across departments only works with booking infrastructure: who can use which zones, how visitors are handled across departmental boundaries, and how each department’s usage is measured for space charging. It is the public-sector version of multi-site management, inverted into one site with many tenants.
