What is Workplace Technology Stack?

The workplace technology stack is the set of systems that together run the physical workplace: booking and scheduling, visitor management, access control, room hardware, sensors, the BMS, and the analytics layer on top, connected to corporate identity and calendars.

Stacks fail through fragmentation: five tools, five logins, five data silos. The current direction of travel is consolidation onto platforms that cover the employee-facing layer in one place and integrate with the building and IT layers via open standards.
