What is Space Utilisation?

Space utilisation measures how intensively your space is actually used against how much you pay for. It is broader than desk utilisation: meeting rooms, collaboration zones, parking and whole floors all have utilisation rates, and the money hides in the gaps between them.

Typical findings: large meeting rooms hosting two-person calls, a permanently empty fourth floor, and a Tuesday desk shortage alongside a Friday ghost town. Each of those is a lease, layout or policy decision waiting for data.

Utilisation data is the core of space management software.
