An interactive floor plan is a live map of the office showing every desk, room and parking space with its real-time status: free, booked or occupied. It turns booking from a list exercise into a visual one: tap the desk by the window, next to your team, done.
It also works in reverse. Colour the same map by utilisation data and it becomes a heat map that shows which zones are overloaded and which are wasted, which is where redesign decisions start.
